Mens Shirts for Women

Menswear is the perfect base to a streetsyle outfit. Oversized blazers are everywhere lately (ex. Hailey Bieber, Elsa Hosk, Matilda Djerf) and so are oversized button up shirts. In this tutorial I am going to walk you through three essential menswear pieces that you need in your wardrobe!

To begin I have an oversized suit. The large blazer paired with the matching bottoms is the perfect feminine twist on a classic mens suiting style. A large blazer paired with a dainty top, such as a silky cropped top or a corset style top, is the perfect masculine-feminine combo. This would make for a great work outfit and could be worn at a conference, but also is perfect for brunch with the girls or evening drinks. The pants don't need to match exactly with the blazer and I often opt for classic black trousers and a coloured blazer when I want to experiment with colour.

A plain white button up is a classic staple that will never go out of style. This is the most versatile clothing item I own as there are endless ways to style it. In this example I've gone with a classic streetstyle look, which is one of my favourite ways to dress lately.

Run to your boyfriend's closet now and grab one of his pinstriped shirts. You can also always find these in the men's section at your local thrift store. The pinstripe looks very feminine and classic when paired with a simple piece such as this denim skirt. Half tucked into a pair of trousers would also look amazing.

These tips can be used to style pieces you already own or you can shop similar products to what I've used using the links in the text.
