Today, I’m taking three different styles of denim skirt and styling them up into seven different looks for you.
Denim is always on trend it seems and I hope these will give you new ways to wear it.
I have a long skirt with a front slit, a flared midi skirt that’s tighter on the hips and a straight midi skirt.
Long denim skirt
My long skirt is so long that even wearing heels, it comes to my ankles.
1. Simple turtleneck look
To be honest I think that all shoes, from sneakers to loafers and high heeled pumps look good with a long denim skirt.
For this style, I’m wearing high heeled ankle boots in tan and a wide leather belt in a similar color.
Above it I have a long sleeved turtleneck bodysuit in beige for a sleek line and I’m topping it with a cropped denim jacket in a lighter shade. Yes, double denim is very on trend now!
My half moon purse is in a light brown and my sunglasses have brown frames.
I’ve kept my jewelry simple and chunky. Gold earrings and rings and my favorite gold watch complete my look.
2. Lace top look
For my second look with this skirt, I’m wearing a stretch lace bralet top, and a pair of white and gold sneakers that are super comfortable.
I’m adding a navy blue cropped bomber jacket that I think fits the proportions of the skirt very well.
It’s a casual look and I’m carrying a white leather purse and white sunglasses to complete it.
Flared denim skirt
This darker denim skirt fits closely over my hips and flares out into an asymmetric hem.
It’s flirty, elegant and fun, and styles up in lots of different ways.
3. Corset top
For this look, I’m wearing it with a sexy corset style top that’s the perfect length.
I have tan high heeled pumps that make my legs look longer and a white leather purse with gold trim.
My jewelry again is simple, chunky and gold, to complement my look and not distract from it.
4. Crop top
I’m wearing a chunky statement necklace with this look to draw the eye towards my Versace crop top.
I topped it with a black linen blazer, but you could wear this with almost any color jacket.
My shoes are super comfortable black loafers, and a black designer purse with gold trim and chain handle finishes it all off.
This is a great look to go out to dinner or with friends.
Straight denim skirt
This skirt is in a much lighter shade of denim. It’s midi length and has a front slit.
The color and style make it the most versatile of the three skirts and you probably have one just like it in your closet.
5. Striped silk shirt
My first style for it is a simple striped silk shirt in navy and white that gives a classy look to any outfit.
I’m wearing knee length white boots with heels and carrying my white leather purse.
The focus of this look is on the statement metal belt with a large clasp that draws attention to my waist and hips.
6. T-shirt
Here’s a more relaxed look for this skirt.
I’m wearing a short sleeved off white t-shirt and adding a pair of two toned shoes with a small block heel.
These shoes are so comfortable, you can walk around in them all day.
I’m taking the style up a notch with a beige linen blazer with rolled-up sleeves and carrying an off white leather purse.
Even though I’m wearing a blazer and heels, this is a cool, comfortable outfit for almost any occasion.
7. Practical look
My final outfit today is very practical and easy to wear.
I’ve teamed a dark denim corset top with an oversize white cotton shirt worn as a jacket.
My white sneakers and a white purse complete this casual, everyday look.
