I was wandering Anthropologie a little while ago (we get A LOT of inspiration from Anthro), when I saw the cutest little pouches. They had a darling pattern, but the best part was some fun stitching! I knew immediately that I wanted to make something similar, and that’s how these DIY Floral Stitched Pouches were born.

Lucky for me, I had just gotten my hands on the May Craft Bundle from CraftBundles.com, and it had the perfect graphics for this project. If you haven’t heard about CraftBundles.com, they have beautifully curated bundles of design elements, from graphics to cut files to fonts. The May Craft Bundle included 33 premium fonts and over 700 SVG cut files, clipart, and digital papers for ONLY $22 (a $234 value)! Such an incredible deal!

Supplies

Pouches

May Craft Bundle

Cutting machine (I used my Silhouette CAMEO)

Heat transfer vinyl

Embroidery floss

Embroidery needle

Step 1: Cut your heat transfer vinyl. I used the Botanicals Vector Illustrations from the May Craft Bundle and cut it using my Silhouette CAMEO.

Step 2: Apply the design to your pouches, following the directions on the vinyl.

Step 3: Add stitching, using your embroidery floss and needle.

I love how they turned out. The stitching brings them to life and gives them so much personality! And wouldn’t they be such a fun gift?

Happy making!

xo, Sam
