Hi everyone! Today, I’m going to show you a fun and creative way to upcycle a plain pair of suede shoes.

I really enjoyed doing this DIY project, so I’m sure you will too.

Plain suede shoes

All you need is a pair of plain suede shoes and a wood burner tool! Let’s jump into it.

Tools and materials:

  • Suede shoes
  • Wood burner tool

1. Buy your wood burner tool

I picked up my wood burner tool for just under $15. I think this is a real bargain considering I’ll use it for lots of future DIY projects too.

Creating designs

2. Get creative

Read the instructions for your wood burner tool carefully, then grab your suede shoes and get creative!

I used my tool to draw on lots of cute designs, including the sun, cacti, flowers and other plants.

You can draw whatever takes your fancy and feels most relevant to you. This is such a fun and easy way to personalize footwear!
