Cricut Iron on Vinyl (I used the Nature Walk Basics sampler)
Cricut EasyPress Mini or Iron
Plain T-shirt
Maker or Explore Machine (optional)
StrongGrip Mat
Do you have a plain T-shirt that needs a little jazzing up? I added a contrasting pocket to a plain black t-shirt, using iron on vinyl.

You can use the Cricut DesignSpace and cutting machine to cut out the shape. Since the design is simple, you could also cut the pocket shape out with scissors.
Position the "pocket" where you want it on the shirt. I put the shirt on to determine the best placement and used a safety pin to keep it in place. If you have an EasyPress, it is perfect for this small project, or you can use an iron to adhere the iron on vinyl to the shirt.
Once the "pocket" is firmly adhered to the fabric, gently peel away the liner.
The white and black faux pocket adds interest to a plain black t-shirt.
