I love a good shoe sale. My closet and my husband can both attest to that, LOL. However, I can be very picky when it comes to buying sneakers. I don’t know what it is, but there is so much when it comes to a pair of sneakers’ look and feel that makes it hard to commit. But, there was one white leather sneaker I had my eye on for quite some time and finally took the plunge to buy while on sale: The Reebok Club C 85 women’s sneakers.I was all heart eyes when they were finally delivered. But, soon after the glitz and excitement wore off, I became stumped. I’d never purchased white leather sneakers before—how do I style them? I had tons of Pinterest pins for such outfits, but not all of them were doable with my own wardrobe without buying this or that. Other than athletic wear, I was drawing a blank for a good while on how to wear them.Over time, I’ve grown more accustomed to reaching for these shoes, and I will say that their cost per wear has gone down significantly over the past few months; they’ve really made themselves a worthwhile purchase. There’s just something about a crisp white sneaker that polishes off an outfit or makes an otherwise too leisurely outfit look a bit more pulled together. Similarly, it can bring an otherwise more business casual look down a notch, making it instantly more casual.Y’all loved the mix-and-match outfit ideas I shared recently in my 2021 Spring Must-haves from Old Navy post, so I thought I’d do a little roundup of recent outfits with these shoes to spark some idea in your own closet, as well! If you’re not sure how to style your white leather sneakers, here are my four favorite ways to give you some inspiration:Ultimate Casual Look with White Sneakers: Oversized Jackets and LeggingsLike I just previously noted, crisp white leather sneakers have a way of making an otherwise frumpy outfit look more intentional and pulled together. Pairing a large, oversized sweater or jacket with leggings and finishing the outfit with white sneakers is a great way to pull off a casual, effortless look. This kind of outfit is perfect for a day at the park, picnics, trunk meetups (as seen below), a leisurely walk, running errands—you name it!
