Make over booties

Glitter glam

To achieve this look, you simply need to spread glue over the mid-section of the boot and then sprinkle glitter on top.

Tip: you can cover up the rest of the boot with tape if this will make it easier for you to keep the design neat and tidy.

How to DIY booties

Feathery and fabulous

The boots I’m using here have leather wraparound strap details on them. Apply glue onto the areas that you want to decorate, and then stick the feathers on top. As you can see, I’ve made it look like the feathers are coming out of one of the straps. Add lace detail around the side and the top of the boot to finish off the look.

Easy DIY booties

Sock shoes

Take a pair of heels, put a pair of socks around them and then poke the heel out. You have sock heels! Quirky, different, and fun!

Basic DIY booties

Sensational stripes

Leave a bit of material on both sides of the zipper exposed and cover the rest of the boot up with masking tape. Paint a neon yellow stripe down one side of the zipper and a neon orange stripe down the other side. You may have to apply several layers of paint to get a deep saturation. Once the paint is dry, remove the tape.
