Everyone knows that shoes can make or break an outfit. Use these styling hacks to keep your shoes looking beautiful and your feet feeling comfortable. Easily look stylish and from head to toe by following these shoe tips and tricks.
Use a thick hair elastic.
Put the hair elastic around your ankle to hold the hems of your pants in place, while being hidden from view inside your boot.
Your jeans will stay smooth.
Spray the sneakers generously with stain remover.
Remove the laces, and throw them and the shoes into the washing machine together with a half cup of borax. Run the machine on a hot cycle.
Your shoes will come out good as new.
Rub the bottoms of your shoes with sandpaper.
Then rub it with an emery board. This helps to create friction between the shoes and the floor, and prevent slipping.
Remove the cardboard insert that came in your sneakers.
Cut off the toe portion of the insert.
Insert the cardboard into the toe of your sneaker.
This will help the sneakers keep their shape.
Get some petroleum jelly.
Rub the petroleum jelly on your foot in the areas where the shoe is tightest.
Run a blowdryer on hot aimed at the clear plastic straps while the shoe is on your foot. The plastic will soften and mold to the shape of your foot.
Use a magic eraser sponge on the rubber parts of your shoe. All the stains and scuffs will come off.
Use a piece of tape to hold your third and fourth toes together to relieve the pain.
Spray the insides of the shoes with hairspray.
The hairspray will help keep your feet in place.
Insert a sachet of green tea into your shoes to absorb unpleasant odors.
