How to Wear Jeans in Spring

If there’s one thing I hate, it’s pants. I’m much more a dress, skirt, or even shorts person. Honestly, I just think jeans and pants are the worst. But here’s the thing, I love the way they look. I see everyone put on such cute outfits with printed pants, or a classic pair of jeans and I want that. To get over my “pants and jeans are uncomfortable” phase I’m forcing myself to wear them every now and then. Certainly not everyday (people at work would definitely get suspicious. Of what, I’m not sure. But me in pants just looks wrong to those people). Step one to getting over my discomfort is learning how to wear jeans in spring. Because heat + pants = getting over being uncomfortable.

3 Ways to Wear Jeans in Spring

Now I could just share one way to wear jeans in spring but where’s the fun in that? I decided to go full blown pants for an entire weekend. I even wore jeans to Disney World, can you believe it? In spring! (Or as Olaf would say, “In Suuummmeeerrr!”). Throughout that experience I’ve learned what it really takes to stay comfortable in pants and jeans when the temperature is above 70. I wanted to share what they were because honestly, I’ve become so enlightened.

Wear White Jeans

This is a no brainier right? Black absorbs sunlight and heat, which means stay away from it in spring and summer. At least that is, stay away from black jeans. A little black dress in spring never killed nobody. I found that white jeans and pants were a perfect option for walking around the farmers market or enjoy coffee with a friend. I kept myself extra cool and comfortable by wearing a fun cami with my white jeans.

How to Wear Boyfriend Jeans in Spring

I’ve always been hesitant when it comes to boyfriend jeans. Baggy has never really been my style. However, when boyfriend jeans have Mickey Mouse on them, you buy them. Not only do they actually look flattering, they also breath because of the looser fit. Clearly my skinny jeans have been letting me down in this area. Of course I paired these Mickey jeans with a Disney top and a cute bag. What could make a better Disney day outfit?

Turn Your Jeans into Capris

The last way that I styled jeans did in fact involve rolling up a pair of skinny jeans. I can’t help that they’re my go to jeans. While skinny jeans don’t leave a lot of breathing room, I just feel the most comfortable in them. Mostly because when I do wear jeans, that’s the style I’m used to. In order to not completely die in this wear, I wore a crop top. And I dare say, it’s a bit more cropped than what I typically wear but hey, it made wearing jeans manageable.
