Here are some casual spring outfit ideas from Old Navy. I am 50 and still enjoy Old Navy, so it's not just for the younger crowd.

Old Navy has long been my go to retailer for basics. They have the best selection of casual pieces including denim, tees, active, and dresses. I think mature women can still shop at Old Navy, although there are a few styles that are obviously geared toward the younger crowd. I recently picked up some spring basics from Old Navy and I have several cute things to share today.

Linen Blend Drawstring Shorts

Every year I like to pick up some drawstring shorts. They are so comfortable to wear! This year I chose the chambray drawstring shorts because they will go with so many things. I would recommend going with your normal size…I am wearing a medium.

Floral Wrap Blouse

Florals are always a good idea for spring basics and this floral wrap blouse would be a great piece to add to your wardrobe. I think this is my favorite piece from this Old Navy shopping trip! I love the style and the pretty spring colors. It also comes in one other color combination. I sized up to a large in the top because of my chest, but if you are smaller busted I would go with your normal size.

If you have a curvy figure or a large chest, the wrap style is your friend. This style usually fits well and is flattering because it cinches the waist.

I appreciated that the top stayed closed and in place while I was wearing it. There is not a snap, but it stayed in place. If this is a problem, you could always use some fashion tape or double sided tape to help keep it closed.

Smocked Floral Swing Top

Another spring basic piece is this smocked floral top. This one fits a little different and I sized down comfortably to a medium. This is a light and airy fabric that will be great as the weather gets hot this summer. It is available in two other colors and the yellow one is really pretty too!

My aviator style sunglasses are from Amazon. I have them in blue and pink lenses. They look sort of green in this photo, but they are technically blue lenses. For some reason the blue lenses are not available anymore, but the pink and the more traditional gold/brown and silver/black are available. I have a pair of Maui Jim aviators that I love, but they are pricey! These are a good alternative and they also come in a size for smaller faces like mine.

Flutter Sleeve Dress

Of course I had to include a dress as part of the spring basics from Old Navy! This is a very flattering style flutter sleeve dress. It has a V-neckline and a banded elastic waist, both of which I love. I chose this playful looking black polka dot print, but it comes in other colors/prints.

I would recommend your normal size in this. I am wearing a medium.

This may be a dress, but it can be worn casually with sneakers or sandals. You will see lots of dresses featured here throughout the spring and especially in the summer since they are a great alternative to shorts and are cooler and more comfortable in the hot months.
