Introducing the Nita Trousers!
My fifth PDF sewing pattern has been a long time coming and it’s finally here!
The Nita Trousers are a vintage inspired tapered ankle length trouser that features a high waist, front pleats, slash front pockets, and a back welt pocket. Available in sizes 0-32, this pattern can be made casual for daily wear or dressed up in nicer fabrics for work wear.
The Nita’s look great in light to medium weight bottom appropriate fabrics. Linen, chambray, silk noil, rayon twill, wool crepe, and mid weight cottons are all great choices for this pattern.
The Nita Trousers Sewalong will begin March 23rd and will go in depth on some of the trickier steps of the pattern including the zip fly, welt pockets, and more. This is a great pattern for beginner sewists looking to up their sewing game and learn new skills!
