Where to Wear: Four Spring Outfits

Spring is in the air, and I don’t know about you but just the littlest hint of sunshine has brightened my mood. I’m ready for all the fun outdoor activities that come with the warmer weather -- weekends at the winery, patio happy hours, park picnics and more! And of course, I’m ready to break out my spring outfits that have been hanging sad in my closet for months.

If you, too, are looking for some spring outfit inspo, I’m sharing a few outfit ideas.

The One to Wear to a Patio Happy Hour

Would you believe me if I told you this outfit is from Walmart? Don’t sleep on this affordable retailer. I’ve found so many cute pieces here the last few years, like these cropped, wide-leg white jeans. They have a raw hem, so for my fellow short girls, you might have to trim a bit. And this striped top is giving me all the nautical vibes. This look pairs perfectly with some camel mules and gold accessories for a great workwear-to-happy-hour ensemble. For days you don’t have any plans? Throw the comfy top on with a pair of joggers and call it leisure wear.

The One to Wear to Brunch

You can’t go wrong with a midi skirt. My favorite way to style this cute spring piece is with a sweater. This one has an open-knit so it’s lightweight and breezy enough for the spring temps but will still add some texture to the look. And I would wear these mules with every outfit if I could get away with it, but you could also do fun sneakers or a studded sandal. With this combo, you will look effortlessly stylish as you sip mimosas with the gals.

The One to Wear to the Winery

Speaking of bubbly, doesn’t spring just feel like the ideal time to winery hop? There’s something about pretty scenery and a bottle of wine that really rinses away the post-winter blues. My go-to for an afternoon out is always a pair of shorts and a kimono. I’m a big fan of layers, and a kimono keeps it light. This lace one adds a great pop of color and also looks adorable over a dress, if that’s more your style.

The One to Wear to Run Errands

What about when you just want to be comfy but still look cute? An oversized tie dye tee and biker shorts always does the trick. If you haven’t jumped on the biker short trend yet, don’t wait another second! Seriously, they’re like summer’s version of leggings, so what’s not to love? I typically pair mine with an oversized tee like this one and sandals or a cute sneaker.
