Make DIY earrings

Make a ring

Take your copper wire and measure it around your wrist. Cut out two pieces that are that length. Next, use your pliers to curl the ends of both wires and then attach them. Use the pliers to hold them down and begin to twist them around each other.

How to make DIY earrings

Do this for about a third of the way down and then measure the twisted wire around your finger.

Easy DIY earrings

Cut off the small ring-sized circle (with a bit of excess) and secure the ring by wrapping the wire in.

Basic DIY earrings

Make a bracelet

Measure your copper wire around your wrist again and cut out a piece. Curl the end with some pliers (pictured above) and then begin to add beads to the wire.

Once you’ve added all your beads, curl the other end. Curl the wire around your wrist and adjust it to fit.

Another ring

Cut out another wrist-length piece of wire and curl one end. Next, using your hands, mold and shape the wire into a wave (as pictured above).

Once you’ve molded the entire wire, curl the end and then shape it around your finger for another copper wire ring.

Make hoop earrings

Grab a metal slinky and some earring hooks. Attach an earring hook to the edge of the metal slinky.

Next use some pliers to cut off one loop of the slinky and push beads onto the metal.

Pull the open end of the metal through the earring hook so the beads are covering the entire earring, cut off any excess, and secure.

I’m so happy with how this DIY earrings tutorial came out! Jewelry is a really fun way to express yourself and your style and it’s always fun to be able to make some of your own!

Why would you say there was no Sklinky used? Why would someone say use a loop of a Slinky if they didn’t use a Slinky?
