Very Easy DIY Tie-On Flip Flops

Flip flops are definitely not made to stay on little feet that like to skip and dance around everywhere so I raided my stash and whipped up a super simple solution to stop them from flying off when we’re out and about and on the go:

Grab my Very Easy DIY Tie-On Flip Flops tutorial and keep those slippy summer sandals in place and on their feet!

Find a length of soft ribbon (or some long, thin fabric scraps) in your refashionista stash and snag your trusty glue gun and glue sticks as well.

Measure and cut the ribbon into 4 equal pieces (make sure they are long enough to comfortably wrap and tie around your kiddo’s ankles). Then stick an end of one of the ribbon pieces around the base of one of the flip flop straps.

Repeat the process on each side of the flip flop straps.

Pop them on, wrap them over and across the foot and tie in a bow around the ankle.

That’s it! Comfy flip flops that won’t fly off!
