10 Cute and Easy 2-minute Hairstyles
Here are some 2-minute hairstyles for all you ladies who are too busy, or just don’t want to spend a lot of time doing your hair in the morning.
These are 10 hairstyles that you can do in two minutes or less. Some of these hairstyles only take a matter of seconds, so there are no more excuses. You can look put together every day with almost no time invested.
Tools and materials:
- Brush
- Bobby pins
- Clip
- Barrette
- Headband
1. Side twists
Part your hair to the side. Then take your hair at the forehead and start twisting it, grabbing more hair and twisting down and back along the edge of your hair line.
When you get to the nape of your neck, clip it in place with a hair clip and repeat this process on the other side.
Once you get to the back, remove the clip and tie all the hair together with a hair elastic.
That’s hairstyle number one. Very nice and sleek and suitable for many occasions.
2. Simple side pins
Start with your hair parted at the side again. Pull the larger section of your hair to the side and put a bobby pin to hold it in place.
Then take a second bobby pin and cross it over the first one making an X. That’s it.
This one is particularly cute if you have very thick, voluminous hair. It’s also great for curly hair.
3. Back twist
Gather all your hair at the back, and starting from the nape of your neck, twist it and turn it upwards, continuing to twist.
Once you have a nice twist going up towards the top, clip it in place.
Take the ends of your hair and drape it over the clip to conceal it. Stick in a couple of bobby pins to hold it in place.
4. Side braid
Pull all your hair to one side in the front. Divide the hair into three sections and make a super quick side braid.
Secure the end of the braid with a hair elastic.
If you like, you can go back and fluff up the braid by just tugging at the hair in different places along the braid, making it a little bit bigger.
It’s a very simple hairstyle that I think is often overlooked.
5. Low bun
Using your brush, gather all your hair back into a sleek, low ponytail. Take the ponytail, twist it, and then twist it around at the base, making a bun at the nape of your neck.
Fasten it in place with bobby pins all around. Depending on your hair type, four should be enough.
You might need more if your hair is thicker.
Now you have a quick, sleek, low bun.
6. Headband
For this hairstyle we’re going to add a headband. Adding an accessory to your hair is a quick and easy way to make it look like you made an effort.
Pull the headband over your head, pulling the hair through it in the back. You can pull out some wisps of hair at the sides, and that’s it.
7. Simple high ponytail
This is another classic, and one of my favorites. We’re going to pull our hair into a high ponytail.
Use a brush to help make the ponytail nice and neat. Then take one strand of hair from the ponytail and wrap it around the base of the ponytail, covering the hair elastic.
Secure that strand in place with a bobby pin and you’re done.
8. Barrette
Another fun accessory to spruce up an easy hairstyle is a barrette.
Just take a little bit of hair from the front on each side. Pull it back and use the barrette to clip it in place.
9. Messy high bun
Pull all your hair up into a messy high ponytail.
Take a hair elastic and pull your hair through once or twice and then pull it halfway through to create a little bun.
Then take the ends of your hair, wrap it around the bun and wrap the elastic around the ends. That is the base for your messy bun.
Now you need to just tug at the hair in your bun a little to give it some volume.
If It’s too floppy you can use some bobby pins to shape it the way you like it.
10. Half up
Take your hair, starting from the front by the ears and gather your hair working your way diagonally up and back to the crown of your head.
Take a hair tie and tie it in place.
This is another hairstyle that works well with voluminous hair.

The side braid is what I most like, as it keeps my hair “together.” I also like seeing it neatly arranged.
Adorable both you and the styles. Growing my hair out so will get to try them out.
