Tools and materials:

  • Foundation
  • Makeup sponge
  • Lightweight concealer
  • Tinted lip product
  • Cream contour stick
  • Cheek tint or balm
  • Setting powder

1. Create a flawless base

Start your 5-minute makeup routine with a solid foundation that caters to your skin type.

The IT Cosmetics CC Cream Natural Matte Foundation is a fantastic choice, especially for those with oily or combination skin.

This foundation is known for its mattifying properties, ensuring that your T-zone remains shine-free while the rest of your face retains a natural, healthy glow.

Applying foundation

If your skin tends to be dry, especially on the cheeks, apply the foundation with a sponge instead of a brush or fingers.

This method minimizes friction and prevents flaking, creating a smooth, even base. The foundation comes in four shades, so choose the one that best matches your skin tone.

2. Brighten the under eyes

Concealing dark circles without making your under-eye area look cakey or aged is key to a quick and easy makeup look.

The Makeup Forever HD Skin Concealer is a lightweight, radiant concealer that provides excellent coverage without the need for setting powder. This product is available in 26 shades, so there's something for everyone.

3. Hydrate and tint the lips

Next, give your lips a pop of color. I used the Merit's tinted lip product.

This hydrating, long-wearing lipstick is perfect for a 5-minute makeup routine, offering a beautiful high shine with the added benefits of rosehip oil and shea butter.

4. Sculpt and add warmth

For a subtle sculpt and a touch of warmth, I like to use the SOOU Cream Contour Stick. This product, enriched with vitamin E, melts effortlessly into the skin, providing a natural contour without affecting oily areas.

Remember, less is more with this highly pigmented formula, so apply sparingly and blend well with your sponge.

5. Add a flush of color

Finish off your look with a touch of color on your cheeks. I’m using the Merit Flush Balm in the shade "Beverly Hills." This soft peach shade gives a natural, glowy finish that lasts all day.

6. Apply a powder

To keep your makeup looking fresh and shine-free, especially in the center of your face, apply a light dusting of powder.

I went for the Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Powder. This product gives an airbrushed finish, perfect for setting your makeup without making your skin look overly matte.

Hi! This is actually just a 5 minute base makeup tutorial rather than a full face tutorial. Of course, the eyes included is longer but this is just about the glowy base in quick time.
