6 Baby Powder Hacks That Actually Work
If you thought baby powder could only be used for babies, you were wrong!
In this video by Glamrs by Purplle, Heli Vyas tests 6 really cool baby powder beauty hacks that actually work.
1. Prime your skin
Heli Vyas demonstrates how you can use baby powder to prime your skin before applying foundation.
The baby powder soaks up any excess oil on the skin, helping the foundation to apply evenly and giving you a nice matte finish.
2. Bake your makeup
Heli Vyas recommends applying baby powder over your makeup using a beauty blender.
This will “bake” your makeup in place and create a flawless finish. After applying the powder, let it sit for 10 minutes, then brush off any excess.
3. Plump your eyelashes
Heli Vyas has an awesome use for baby powder on your eyelashes.
To achieve super long and thick lashes, she recommends curling your lashes, applying mascara, adding baby powder to the lashes while they're still wet, then going in with a final coat of mascara.
The result is impressive!
4. Mattify your lips
For long-lasting matte lipstick, Heli Vyas suggests applying a small amount of baby powder over your lip color.
5. Banish pimples
Heli Vyas recommends mixing some baby powder with a few drops of water and applying it directly to clean skin as a pimple treatment.
6. Greasy hair fix
To combat greasy hair, simply add a sprinkle of baby powder to your scalp and roots and massage it in.
These baby powder hacks are so easy but also real game-changers. Which hack is your favorite? Let us know in the comments down below.
