Try This Half up Braided Hair Hack
I have a sophisticated yet simple to achieve half-up, half-down braid hairstyle that you might love! Just follow along with my step-by-step tutorial to create it with me.

Tools and materials:
- Hair elastics
1. Make a small ponytail
Grab about a 2-3” middle section of your hair from the back, leaving out the hair from the front and tie a small ponytail using a hair elastic.
2. Braid it
Make a regular, 3-strand braid with the ponytail and tie off the end.
3. Start a topsy tail but leave a loop
Stick your fingers in the hair above the top hair elastic to create a gap. Then start pulling the braid up and through it.
Instead of pulling the tail all the way through, leave a small loop.
4. Pull hair from the front through the braided loop
On 1 side of your face, grab a section of hair from the front and pull it through the braided loop.
Repeat on the other side.
5. Lock it in place
Now that the hair is in place, pull at the tail of the braid to “lock” the topsy tail.
Here’s the final result of this elegant hairstyle:
