Tired of the same old boring summer hat you’ve been wearing? Spice it up with some flowers!

Using command strips to attach flowers

Cut up a command strip to secure plastic flowers (or any other stylish decorations) to the brim. The cool thing about command strips? They’re not permanent! So you can switch up your look any day of the week.

2. DIY beach bag

If you don’t want to be sharing a beach bag with twenty other people on the beach, think about making your own! This simple bag is super easy to make and only takes a few easy steps.

How to make a beach bag

a) Fold and glue the top edge

Just take a piece of fabric you love and fold down the edge to make a tunnel for the rope you’ll be using for straps. Glue it down with hot glue.

Fold the fabric in half and glue up the sides, excluding the tunnel you just glued, of course.
