Tools and materials:
- Large square fashion scarf
1. Fold your scarf
Start by folding your large square scarf in half.
2. Find the center-point
With one hand holding the folded edge, find the center of the open edge along the top of your folded scarf.
3. Make your first knot
Separate the two layers of your scarf, and tie those center points together in a knot.
This is how that top edge will look now.
4. Start to put on your scarf
Put one arm through the hole you made from the folded edge to your knot.
Pull the scarf up to your shoulder.
5. Make the second shoulder
Separate the two layers of your scarf and bring one layer behind your back and the other layer across your front, so the other two top corners meet over your second shoulder.
Tie the corners of your scarf in a knot over your second shoulder.
Here is where you should be at, so far.
The folded edge of the scarf is on one side of your body, and the open edges on the other side of your body.
6. Finish with your final knot
Gather the ends of your scarf at the front and the back.
The side of your scarf on the folded edge will drape across your front, to meet the back of the scarf at the side of your body.
Tie those two ends at the side of your body, leaving a long tail.
Then pull it tighter and adjust to fit.
You can pull down the non-tied side at the bottom, to give an asymmetrical, angled look.
Look how cute this top is!
7. Try an alternate look
For a different look, you can flip one side of the scarf over the opposite shoulder.
Then, bring the other side of the scarf across the front of your body, and tuck it into the first side.
