How to Make a Scarf Top in 30 Seconds
I love making tops from scarves. They're so easy to do and so versatile.
For this scarf top DIY I’m using a snake chain belt that I got from Amazon. Make sure you get one that’s long enough.

Tools and materials:
- Halter neck bra
- Large silky scarf
- Snake chain belt
1. Wear the chain
Place the chain behind your neck and make sure the two ends are the same length.
Take the ends under your arms and fasten the chain together at the back. It should be loose.
2. Prepare the scarf
Fold the scarf in half diagonally.
Bring the folded edge up to meet the point in the center.
Fold it in half again lengthways with the point on the inside.
Tie a knot in the center of the scarf.
4. Attach the scarf
Pass the ends of the scarf under the chain on each side.
Keeping the knot in the center, open out each side of the scarf to cover your bra cups.
Pass one end of the scarf back over the chain, below the bra cup and finally through the knot in the center.
Repeat with the other end and arrange them both under the knot.
How to make a DIY scarf top in 30 seconds
Slip your bra off and you have a classic, sexy almost backless top.
It looks great worn casually or even as evening wear.
And it takes well under 5 minutes to do!
