3 Summer Head Scarf Style Ideas

Do you have a cotton scarf? A few months ago, my friends gave me this wonderful cotton scarf which is my favorite one to wear this summer.


Here, I will show you three ways how you can wear a cotton scarf like this. Let’s get started with the summer headscarf styles.


Babushka style

Babushka style is probably the first that comes to my mind when tying a cotton scarf.


1. Fold

Fold the scarf in half to create a triangle.

Then simply place it over your head and tie it under your chin.

The beauty of cotton is that it keeps its shape perfectly. This style is so cute!


I like to move the scarf a bit further back on my head so that some of my hair is showing at the front.


Gypsy style

The gypsy style shows the beauty of the borders of the scarf.

1. Place over head

With the scarf as a square, place it over your head with the edge of the scarf right at the front of your head.

2. Tie

Tie it at the back and bring all of the fabric to one side.

I think this style is perfect for a nighttime walk on the beach.

1. Fold

First, fold the scarf to make a triangle. Tie the ends of the scarf at the back and hide the ends of the scarf under the knot.


Spread out the two pieces that hang down.

Shift the scarf back on your head, and you can wear it like this.

I also like to wear this style of scarf with a cowboy hat.
