Upgrade Your Outfit With This DIY Scarf Hack
Do you have a drawer full of beautiful scarves that you hardly ever wear? Well, here’s a great new upstyling idea for them.
Check out this amazing scarf hack, for a whole new way to add scarves to your wardrobe!
This is not your grandmother’s scarf: I guarantee she never wore her scarves like this!
Tools and materials:
- Long scarf
- Wardrobe staple with buttons
1. Cover your buttons
Push one end of your scarf through your buttonholes and cover your existing buttons with the scarf material, pulling the end back through to the inside of your vest or shirt.
2. Wrap your scarf
Wrap your scarf around your waist from front to back.
3. Secure the end
Tuck the loose end of your scarf into the wrapped scarf at your waist.
4. Flare the tail
Pull the tail of your scarf out to flare the loose end.
Easy scarf hack
Now you’ve got a great accessory to your outfit!
Try this with a plain white button-down shirt, a vest, a button-up sweater, or any buttoned jacket. It’s a great way to add color, detail, and interest to your outfit.
