How to prepare the aloe vera
Start by scraping out the aloe vera gel from the plant. To do this, peel the sides to remove the hard exterior.
Then scoop out the gel with a spoon.
Transfer the gel to a bowl and mash with a fork to break apart the jelly-like clumps until you have a nice and even consistency.
Aloe oil mask
1. Combine ingredients
Combine three tablespoons of aloe vera with one tablespoon of black castor oil in a bowl. Castor oil treats thinning hair. Mix the two together.
2. Apply the mask
Apply it to your hair and scalp. Leave it on for an hour or overnight and then wash it off.
Aloe juice mask
1. Combine ingredients
Combine three tablespoons of aloe vera with one tablespoon of lemon juice. I recommend taking a lemon and juicing it for optimum results. Then add 1-2 drops of tea tree oil.
Lemon juice deep cleanses the scalp and tea tree oil is a dandruff remedy. Mix the ingredients together.
2. Apply the mask
Apply the mask to your scalp. You can apply it with your hands or dab it on with some cotton wool. Leave it on for 10-15 minutes before you rinse it off.
Aloe onion mask
1. Blend an onion
Cut an onion and blend it with a little water to make a paste. Onion paste treats and prevents hair loss.
2. Combine ingredients
Combine two tablespoons of onion paste with two tablespoons of aloe vera. Mix the two together.
3. Apply the mask
Apply the mask to your hair and scalp. Massage it in and rinse it off after 30 minutes.
