Braid Your Hair Like Elsa
If you, or some child in your life, is a big fan of Frozen, then you will want to learn how to make a Frozen Elsa braid! This is such a pretty hairstyle.
It’s easier than you think, so follow along.
Tools and materials:
- Hair elastics
1. Start with a simple Dutch braid
Part your hair on one side and bring all your hair over to the side opposite your part.
Now, separate a section of hair from the front.
Divide that section into three, and start making a simple three-strand braid.
When you get to the just above your ear, take hair from in front of your ear, and add it into your braid.
Then do the same, with a section of hair from behind your ear.
Continue adding in hair from the back of the braid until you are about half way down your braid section.
Secure your braid with a hair elastic.
2. Transform your Dutch braid to a Frozen braid
Use your fingers to fluff out your braid.
With your fingers, make a hole in the middle of your braid, just above the hair elastic.
Grab all your hair from behind the braid, and pull it through the hole you just made.
Divide your unbraided hair into three sections, and make one braid.
Pull the middle section up and pin it out of the way.
Secure the other two strands of hair with a hair elastic, about 2 inches down.
Now let the pinned section of hair down.
Again, divide the loose hair into three sections, make one braid.
Then pin the middle section up.
Secure your hair below the last braid with a hair elastic.
Let the pinned hair down and secure the remaining hair with a hair elastic.
Make a hole just above the bottom hair elastic.
Pull your remaining loose hair through that hole from front to back.
Fluff out the braid.
