Tools and materials:
- Leave-in conditioner
- Hair ties
- Bobby pins
1. Apply leave-in conditioner
Smooth your hair down with leave-in conditioner.
This will relieve some of the frizz and flyaways without adding extra grease with gel or pomade.
Apply the conditioner to the rest of your hair as well.
2. Put your hair into a low quarter-bun
Put your hair into a low ponytail.
Instead of finishing the last wrap of the hair tie, pull the hair only a quarter of the way through to create a small bun.
3. Split the ponytail into two
Split the tail of the ponytail into two sections.
4. Twist each section
Loosely twist each section of the split ponytail.
5. Tie together the twists
Tie together the two twists near the crown of your head with a clear rubber band.
6. Wrap the twists around the bun
Turn the twists into a figure 8 and wrap the top half around the bun.
7. Pin the tail
Tighten the tail and then pin it underneath the bun to hide it.
