Tools and materials:
- Claw clip
- Hair extensions
- Bobby pins
- Floral combs
1. Insert hair extensions
Temporarily clip up a top section of your hair with a claw clip. Then insert hair extensions in the exposed part.
After applying one at the back, apply hair extensions on either side as well.
2. Make 2 braids
Grab a small section of hair after the face-framing portion and make a 3-strand braid, leaving a few inches unbraided at the end.
While holding the end of the braid with 1 hand, pinch and pull at the sections with the other to create more volume.
Then make a matching braid on the other side, adding volume in the same way.
3. Create a low crown in the back
Use a bobby pin to both secure the end of the first braid and attach it to the back of your head.
Then weave the tail of the 2nd braid through the 1st to create the other half of the low crown.
4. Embellish
Add some floral combs or real flowers with bobby pins along the inside of your braided crown if you’d like for a feminine touch.
