How to DIY These Super Cute and Bright Nails for Summer
If it’s summer, then it’s time for bright summer nails! In this tutorial, I will show you a super cute bright summer nail idea.
I’ve used solid cream gel polish for this tutorial, with colors that will let your imagination soar. You can pick your favorite colors and jewels, and create your own eye-catching summer nail design.
So, if you’re ready to have some fun, let’s begin!
Note: If you don't have any cream gel nail polishes, you can still recreate this look using regular polishes!
Tools and materials:
- Solid cream gel nail polish
- Assorted nail brushes
- Assorted nail jewels
- Nail glue
- UV lamp
1. Pick your base colors
Start with a nice, bright palette of summer colors, in solid cream gel polish and a clean nail polish brush for each color you are going to use.
2. Apply a base coat
Pick your favorite colors and apply a base coat.
You can use the same color on all your nails, or change it up and give each nail a different vibrant color.
Cure each nail under your UV lamp.
3. Add jewels
Use nail glue and tweezers to add decorative jewels to your nails, and cure again.
4. Add decorative nail polish
Use a thin nail polish brush and a contrasting color to your base coat, to add some decorative elements that highlight your jewels.
Cure each nail again, after applying the decorative polish.
I have used a different jewel, placed in the same position on each nail, with the same decorative polish element.
So, each nail is unique, but the whole look is coordinated.
5. Finish with a top coat
Apply a clear top coat to each nail, going around the jewel, not over it.
