Bubbling Bath Salts
How to make bubbling bath salts. If you can't decide between a bubble bath and an Epsom salt soak, then use these fizzing bath salts. You'll use a bubble bath base. Then you'll mix the ingredients and any fragrance that you want.
I have a list of essential oil blends that would be perfect in my bubbling bath bath salts recipe. I think a nice relaxing scent would be perfect! I also found a natural fragrance free bubble bath that you can use in this recipe.
To make bubbling bath salts, you will need:
- 2 cups Epsom salts
- 1/3 cup unscented body wash or bubble bath
- 1 teaspoon jojoba oil
- 2 drops essential oil
- 2 drops food coloring (optional)
Combine the oil and essential oils in a small container. Then combine all of the ingredients in a bowl. Mix well.
Spread the mixture on a cookie sheet to dry for 24 hours. It will tend to clump, so stir it every few hours as it dries. Then package it up and it's ready to use.
Add 1/2 cup of these bubbling bath salts to your bath water while the water is running and enjoy! The bubble bath base makes bubbles and the Epsom salts dissolve for an Epsom salt bath. I recommend using a plastic mason jar in case you drop it. I'm not a fan of glass in the bathroom since I'm so clumsy!
