Date Night ‘Fit

It’s very rare my husband and I get a date night. With our crazy busy lives it’s rare we have a chance to get out, let alone just the two of us. But recently, we headed out to dinner and movie, Top Gun Maverick (duh), and I was loving the sleek simplicity of my choice of outfit. Basic pieces as of late are kinda my jam.

I can’t be the only one who thinks it freezing every time I go to a movie! For that reason, albeit 95 degrees I opted for layers. This double lined bodysuit from Maurices, I’ve linked before, that I cant say enough good things about, was a perfect layering piece. It was sleek and simple alone, yet easy to toss on the this light weight blazer jacket for warmth and still looked super cute.

Bodysuit tank comes in 3 colors and I would grab them all!

This blazer also now comes in multiple colors, some fun colors for spring/summer as well as basic neutral ones. I highly recommend!

I went with my favorite KanCan straight leg boyfriend jeans with the block sandals. I wish I could still link these exact jeans, first pair of straight leg jeans I have LOVED. But I haven’t not liked a pair of KanCan jeans yet.

Toss on the black aviator sunnies from Maurices and I was ready to roll.

Final look before heading out. These staple pieces are must grabs! So many cute outfits to be made with just a few simple pieces.
