Fall Wardrobe Basic: Mock Neck Tank

To be honest, not much changes in a Floridians wardrobe from summer to fall. It more often makes the change from summer to winter. One essential I love having in my wardrobe for fall though is a mock neck tank top. It’s not a full turtleneck and it doesn’t have sleeves so it’s great for “fall” in Florida. I highly recommend having at least 3 mock neck tanks in your closet. 2 solids (you can never go wrong with black and white) and 1 printed. That way you can mix and match and maximize the rest of your wardrobe.

I own a black and a white mock neck tank, as well as an animal print one. However, animal print isn’t always my cup of tea so I don’t wear it too often. In looking for a new printed mock neck I stumbled across one to rent from Nuuly. It is also available to purchase from Anthropologie, which is why I love renting from Nuuly. I can try an item for a month before purchasing it forever, or deciding not to. Either way, it’s a win-win. I actually loved renting this top and thought it paired so well with this textured skirt from H&M. If you threw on some go-go boots this would totally give off 70s vibes.

My Favorite Mock Neck Tank Tops

I wanted to share a few of my favorite mock neck tank tops with y’all. There’s so many affordable options and you really can’t go wrong with them. As I’m starting to see, the more the merrier. Especially as I’ve worn 2 different ones this week alone. It is fall after all, even if it is 90+ degrees still. Don’t live in Florida? They’re still great layering pieces that can be paired with pretty much anything. And look especially chic under a blazer.
