How to Style a Tennis Skirt
I must say the tennis skirt is not a trend I thought I’d be wearing. I’m not much of a skirt wearer nor do o gravitate for this preppy sporty look, but I the tennis skirt to be more versatile than I expected. This skirt is from Amazon and come with built in shorts, a definite plus for a
skirt.
I love the concept of pairing, a dressier piece with a casual piece. Here I’m using a black sweatshirt and using a faux collar underneath (it’s too hot in Texas for layers right now). Mixing edgy with preppy for this look. You could definitely switch out the combat boots for sneakers.
Definitely doing a whole school girl vibe here. Paired it with a button up shirt and an oversize vest. Opted for an oversize vest versus a fitted vest to give more of a casual feel.
I’m going for a warmer look with a chunky knit sweater. Of course I had to pair it with the most popular fall/winter item this season… the striped sweater. Paired all of these looks with the combat boots because I love the contrast of something edgy with some thing preppy.
