An Honest Review of Chicwish
Chicwish is a brand I’ve been wanting to try for awhile now. They have a mix of trendy and timeless pieces on their website. I’m not a fan of the trendier pieces, but there’s a vintage elegance to their timeless pieces that I’ve always been drawn to. Kind of like ModCloth, but with a much wider selection. With so many options, it was hard to choose a few to try out for the first time. I ultimately settled on a dress, a couple of skirts (great for mixing and matching!), and a swimsuit that was just too cute to pass up. Here’s how I styled them with items already in my closet!

Full Chicwish Review
Overall, the clothes from Chicwish were exactly the quality I expected them to be. They aren’t the highest quality pieces in the world, but you get what you pay for. All things considered, the skirts were the most well made items that I ordered. They had a good structure and were made with a nice fabric. The dress was made of a much lighter polyester fabric. While it was thin, it was also lined, which you don’t typically see in clothing items from other stores, like Amazon. Swimwear I always find hard to judge. You can only compare it so much with swimsuits being made of the same materials. Overall though, the structure in the bust of the swim was up to par with other swimwear brands. And the print is just so darn cute.
Chicwish Sizing
Of the items I ordered from Chicwish, the sizing ran fairly true to size. I ordered my normal size in everything and most of the items fit well. The only item that I’d say ran a little small was the floral skirt. Most likely due to the fabric and lack of stretch. If I ordered another Chicwish skirt in the same material, I’ll be sizing up. I’m always a little worried ordering online because you don’t know if the size chart is true for every item. So I was very glad that the sizing at Chicwish was correct.
Quality
Like I mentioned, the quality of the items were what I was expecting. One item that did surprise me in quality was the brown skirt. It was much thicker, almost a true wool. But hey, I’ll never complain about an item being well made! The dress was probably the most lacking in quality, but again, nothing less than what I was expecting.
