One Dress Transformed for Multiple Occasions
Wouldn’t you love a dress you can wear multiple ways for different occasions? Take this black and white striped dress for example. I styled it with different accessories to differentiate each look.
This first look is for the office. I chose a fuscia blazer for a bold pop of color and wore pointed-toe stiletto heels to look extra sleek. The jacket and heels definitely made the dress look more professional and take the dress up a level. All you need is a black clutch and you’re ready to conquer those meetings, gals!
The second look is meant for going out shopping, having lunch with the girls, you get the idea - casual chic. You can throw on a denim jacket, drape it over your shoulders, or tie it around your waist.
Add a fedora for an extra point of interest. Then wear this look with a heeled sandal and it’s still not too casual, but not too dressy. I chose a black espadrille. I finished the look with a bamboo clutch for a summery, feminine touch.
Lastly, you could easily wear this third look on vacation…like to hang out on the boat deck, stroll along the beach, or to a casual bayside dinner, etc. Throw on a solid kimono in a bright color or even tone it down like I did with white. Then style it with a fun, floppy beach hat and sandals to bring the vacay vibe all together. My sandals are bright so they add the flare.
It is so important to have basic, staple pieces in your closet that you can easily manipulate to fit your fashion needs. Which look here is your favorite?!
