How to Dress Like Gossip Girl’s Blair Waldorf 

The character Blair Waldorf lives in the upper east side of New York City so she is known for having the generation wealth that can buy the most luxurious fashion.

Blair is most often seen wearing silk blouses or cashmere roll necks so the choice is yours. Tk maxx is a great place to buy clothes with high quality fabrics at an affordable price. She tends to wear deep colours in the roll necks so a black one would be very versatile.

Trousers are rarely seen worn by her on the show so if she isn’t wearing a dress, it will most likely be a tweed or boucle skirt. Prints such as houndstooth is a regular occurrence in her wardrobe.

I have found the most timeless skirt from shein. It is a Burgandy and white houndstooth mini skirt with pearl detail buttons. It will be in fashion every autumn / winter so you can’t go wrong!

She is known for going all out with her outfits so a plain pair of tights just won’t do! Lace tights is a must! M&S have released black lace tights which feel like great quality and on par with the ones from Gucci. 

Footwear can be interchangeable. Sometimes she wears heels, ankle boots or even knee high boots. So the choice is yours. 

For coats, the character more often than not will wear a wool longline coat and if she is not seen wearing one then you can guarantee it will be a cape. 

I have decided to wear a burgundy wool coat as it will tie in with the skirt. 

The last two accessory’s is a bag and headband. Blair wears embellished headband in almost every episode. Jennifer Behr design the most luxurious headbands and if the show was still made today then the costume department would definitely buy them from there. 

For bags a black leather one with a horse bit would look the most sophisticated. You can find this style from Gucci or Dune if you are on a budget.
