Are SHEIN Swimsuits Good Quality? An Honest Review of 4 SHEIN Swimsuit

Finding swimwear can get a little expensive, but I have found that the SHEIN website has extremely high-quality swimsuits for a very affordable price. The swimsuits are on trend and come in an extremely wide variety of sizes.

What size I order

I am right on the verge of normal sizing and plus sizing when it comes to swimsuits so I ordered a size extra large in swimsuits that came in regular and plus sizes.

The first swimsuit I tried was this two piece black one shoulder bikini. It reminded me a lot of an extremely popular one piece swimsuit from Amazon with the see-through stripes so I just had to try it.

The bottoms had really great coverage and were not cheeky at all. The top had good coverage too. It stayed up on the side where there was no strap.

If I had to change anything I would make it a little bit longer so that the stripes on the bottom of the top went a little bit further down. The swimsuit was true to size and so comfy.

Textured high waisted bikini

Next up was this adorable rose pink number. I really like the crisscross detail of the straps in the back and the more athletic look in the front. The design of the swimsuit also looked ribbed, but it was still made out of swimwear material. I thought that was so cute.

Again, these bottoms had great coverage as well as the top. I like this color, but I personally think it would look better if I was a little more tan. If I ordered it again I may choose a different color, but I definitely loved the style.

Floral one shoulder bikini

The next suit I tried on I had been eyeing for a couple of weeks. I absolutely love the colors and the floral detail as well as the one shoulder.

When I tried it on I instantly fell in love with the top. The coverage was amazing and the pattern and colors were gorgeous.

I was a little bummed because the bottoms felt a lot smaller than the other bottoms I have been trying on. The measurements on the website told me that they would fit that way in the description, so I wasn’t at all surprised. I just wish that they had a higher waisted bottom because I felt like it didn’t cover everything I wanted it to.

Polka dot tie shoulder bikini

The last swimsuit was an emerald green dalmatian print bandeau with high waisted bottoms.

This top had straps that tied on the shoulder. I think the ties look better tight because they hold the suit up more but you could also tuck them in or tie them different ways for different looks.

This color is so stinking gorgeous and I love the fit of the bottoms. I felt held together, uniform, and so comfy.

Final thoughts

SHEIN has so many great options for every body type and preference. Because their suits are so affordable, I feel more willing to try a style that I had not tried before.

This company also has free returns now in the United States, so it makes taking a risk even easier because you are able to return it if you don’t like it.
