Swimsuit Season!

Each summer vacation I take, I’ve always gotten new swimsuits. And not just one. One for each day. 😆 However, this year I struggled to find more than a couple that I actually liked enough to keep. I don’t know if it is my age, the trends, or what. I’m 5’3” on my tallest day, and I find that high waisted full bottom suits make me look very squatty. The high leg trend is not one that I mind after some time getting comfortable with, but I still have to be very careful about the cut into my hips. Also, there isn’t much booty coverage on most suits these days. Although I will admit, in a tropical location I tend to be a little more free and just roll with the crowd. I’ve linked a few suits I ended up keeping that also come at a great price point so you won’t feel like you have to wear them 50 times to make them worth their cost.

This bikini is from Shein. I decided to give it a try after reading tons of reviews and all indicated it was great for bigger chests. I run into issues with their suits a lot of times because of this, but decided for the price point of just $10 it was worth a shot. I was very pleasantly surprised. Disclaimer, it is pretty cheeky, but very comfortable and absolutely adorable on. It also comes in quite a few great color options. I opted for this bubblegum pink color. I ordered a size med/6 and while the bottoms were slightly big, it has tie sides so I could adjust. The top was perfect size wise and I’m a 34dd.

This ribbed, blue high leg suit from Cupshe is adorable. Slightly cheeky but decent coverage and has a slight athletic feel to it as well. I went with a size small. The top was a little snug but not uncomfortable.
