Cherry Sugar Scrub DIY
I love making my bath and shower products, and this sugar scrub is one of my favorites yet. The sweet almond oil leaves my skin feeling so for when I use it.
This sugar scrub uses a cherry scent, but you could easily substitute the cherry blossom scent instead if you wanted to.
This body scrub uses fragrance oil. If you prefer, you can use essential oils instead. Sweet almond oil and coconut oil are both very healing for dry skin.
One cup granulated sugar
⅓ cup sweet almond oil or carrier oil of choice. Coconut oil works well.
Twenty drops of red cherry fragrance oil or essential oils of your choosing.
⅛ tsp Deep Rose Mica Powder
Mason jar with a lid
- Add the sugar scrub ingredients to a small bowl.
- Stir very well to combine everything.
- Make sure it is well blended.
- Store in an airtight container like a Mason jar.
Sugar scrubs can be stored in an airtight container like a Mason jar. They will last for about six months.
This makes a wonderful gift for anyone on your list. You can create a gift basket by adding a body lotion, soft washcloth, or my homemade body butter. Tie a pretty bow around the Mason jar.
