Easy Method to Make a Custom Print Jacket

This custom print jacket tutorial is a fun and easy project for anyone who loves unique clothes. The method used to customize this jacket can be applied to other garments, as well. Want to find out how it’s done? Keep reading!
Tools and materials:
- Denim jacket or other garment
- PVA glue or Mod Podge
- Napkin with print
- White paint
- Paintbrush
Paint
If your garment is a light color, painting is not necessary. If it is a dark color, the section you want to customize must be painted so the print can be seen. Make sure to place a pad or a piece of cardboard under the fabric to prevent the paint from leaking through. Let the paint dry completely before the next steps.
Prepare the print
Remove the back of the napkin.
Cut out the shapes from the napkin that you want to transfer to your garment.
Apply glue
Using a wide paintbrush, apply the glue or Mod Podge to the area where you will apply the print.
Apply print
Carefully apply the print pieces to the garment, gently smoothing out any folds or bubbles. Pat it all over to make sure all the areas of the print will stick.
Apply more glue
Use the paintbrush to apply more glue around the edges of the print. Apply another two or three layers of glue on top of the print, letting each layer dry completely before applying the next one. Once everything is dry, your custom printed garment is done!
