Cover Your Purse's Flaws With a Scarf!
I have figured out the best way to cover your purse’s flaws with a scarf.
I was so upset when the handle on my black Tory Burch bag started coming apart.
It’s such a great everyday bag so I suppose it was bound to eventually see some wear and tear, but I was not ready to stop using it. I had to find a solution!
Tools and materials:
- Bag
- Scarf
1. Find a scarf that works with the bag
Find a scarf that really compliments your bag. This will just help to make the whole thing look intentional as opposed to just being a way to cover up flaws.
Since I was working with a high end, classy-looking black leather bag, I decided to go for a black and white silk scarf.
The white details are very subtle, but they add a little something to the overall look. The silk compliments the style of the bag.
2. Tie and twist
Take one corner of the scarf and tie it around the beginning of the handle where it’s attached to the bag.
Take the scarf and twist it around the handle neatly covering the entire thing.
When you reach the other side of the handle, make another knot to secure the scarf in place.

It’s that simple, you guys. Can you believe how cute this looks?
You really can’t tell that it’s covering up any flaws because it looks like it’s just a cute, fun way to add some flare to your bag.

You coud always use Nail vrnish to fix the bags missing bits. Need not be the same colour!
I used super glue at both ends of the sewing thread.
