Quick and Easy Day to Night Makeup Tutorial

Today, I have two makeup tutorials for you guys.
First, I’ll be showing you a gorgeous daytime makeup look, and then we’re going to be transforming it into a night time look by making a few changes.
If you’ve been looking for a beautiful night time makeup look and you don’t want to have to completely redo all of the makeup you’ve been wearing in the day, this is for you.
Tools and materials:
- Primer
- Foundation
- Concealer
- Beauty blender
- Setting powder
- Eyeshadow
- Makeup brushes
- Mascara
- Contour
- Blush
- Highlighter
- Lipstick
- Setting mist
- Blue eyeliner
- False lashes
Daytime look
1. Primer
Prep your face using a smoothing primer. This will help to blur out any texture or pores that you have on your skin.
2. Foundation
For your base, go in with a powdered foundation.
3. Concealer
Next, highlight the center of your face with some concealer. This will help to brighten your under-eye area. Proceed to blend it out.
4. Setting powder
Set the concealer and bake your under-eye area with some translucent setting powder.
Then set the rest of your face. Then set the rest of your face.
5. Eyeshadow
Do your eyebrows as you usually would. Then, take a matte peach-toned eyeshadow and apply it all over your eyelid.
Use a fluffy blending brush to achieve a very soft wash of color all over your eyelids. Blend it out up to the crease area.
Then take a shimmery rose-colored eyeshadow with your fingers.
I find that fingers work best with shimmer eyeshadows. Apply that to your eyelids to intensify them.
To create a soft, smudged-out look, take a dark gray eyeshadow and smudge that over your lash line with a thin brush.
Next, take the peach tone from before and blend that over your lower lash line.
6. Mascara
Proceed to coat both your upper and lower lashes with mascara.
7. Contour
To add some structure and definition to the face, contour the sides of your face and use a very thin fan brush to contour the sides of your nose.
8. Blush
Use blush to add color to the apples of your cheeks.
9. Highlighter
Using the same fan brush, highlight the bridge of your nose and the top of your lips.
Also, use some on the inner corners of your eyes.
10. Lipstick
To finish off the look, apply some lipstick in a terracotta color.
11. Setting spray
Set all of your makeup with some setting mist.
And this is my simple daytime look. It is beautiful and feminine, with soft eyes and rosy lips.
Day to night
Now let’s transform it into a vampy, night time makeup look.
1. Eyeliner
Take a dark blue eyeliner and wing out your liner. Create a very exaggerated liner look.
2. Eyeshadow
Then you also want to intensify the eye shadow, so take a dark reddish brown shade, intensify the outer V area and blend it into the crease slightly.
Then take a darker mauve shade and darken out the outer area even more.
Also, go ahead and touch up on the shimmer shadow.
3. False lashes
To add more drama to the eyes, apply some dramatic false eyelashes and also add a double coat of mascara to your lower lashes.
This is really going to open up your eyes.
4. Lips
For the lips, I went for a metallic dark red.
5. Highlighter
Touch up on your highlighter because, during the evening, indoor lighting will shine onto your makeup.
Go ahead and really intensify that highlight.
Day to night makeup
Here we have our finished nighttime look. Compared to our daytime look, the eyeshadow is much darker and more intense, with bold wings and big eyelashes.
The lipstick is also a richer red color. I hope you’ve enjoyed this makeup tutorial and found it helpful!
