DIY Cuticle Oil for Nail Growth - My Secret Recipe

Follow this tutorial on how to make your own DIY cuticle oil for nail growth. This cuticle oil will help you achieve long, strong nails. All of the ingredients for this DIY nail oil are probably already in your home, so you won’t even have to go shopping!
Tools and materials:
- Clean empty nail polish bottle
- Acetone
- Oils of your choice
- Vitamin E oil
1. Clean your empty nail polish bottle and brush
Clean out an empty nail polish bottle with acetone so you can use it to hold your DIY nail cuticle oil.
2. Add an oil
Fill your clean empty bottle halfway with oil. You can use coconut oil, avocado oil, olive oil, even baby oil - most oils work. I use coconut oil. Using a dropper will make this less messy.
3. Add vitamin E
Add some natural vitamin E oil to your bottle, filling the bottle to about three-quarters full.
4. Add a third oil and mix
Now, fill the rest of your bottle with your second oil of choice, whatever you have on hand. You could also just stick with one oil, but I like to mix to get the benefits of different kinds of oils.
I used Manuka oil that my grandma gave to me. You don't need to use a lot of this oil.
Shake the filled nail polish bottle gently to mix the three oils together.
5. Apply nail cuticle oil
To use, remove any nail polish and use a clean nail polish brush to apply your DIY nail cuticle oil to your nails. Massage the cuticle oil into your nails, including your nail beds, and underneath any part of your nails that extend beyond your fingertip.
Leave the nail cuticle oil to soak into your nails for 10 minutes. Then wash your hands. You are now ready to paint your nails.
6. Paint your nails and maintain your cuticle oil
After you have painted your nails, apply one more coat of DIY nail cuticle oil and massage it in well. To maintain your beautiful nails, apply cuticle oil every night before you go to bed.

I hope you enjoyed this guide on how to make your own cuticle oil. One thing to note is that if you use coconut oil, it can harden at cooler temperatures. If that happens, just put the bottle in hot water and the coconut oil will liquify.
