How to DIY Cute Green Flower Nails For Spring
Nothing says spring quite like some lovely spring flowers, and hopefully we’ll be seeing those coming out of the ground very soon!
In the meantime, here is a tutorial to learn how to make some gorgeous spring flower nails. This green flower nail art can be done with other spring colors in the background as well.
Just pick your favorite spring color, pick up some flower nail embellishments, and your spring flower nail art will be up before the tulips!
Tools and materials:
- Gel nail polish
- Clear gel nail base coat
- Clear matte nail top coat
- False nail set (optional)
1. Prep your nails
Apply a thin clear base coat to your nails.
2. Add color background coat
Pick your favorite spring color of gel polish for the background coat.
I am using a mint green tone, but I think I might also try a set with a pink gel polish background, and another set with yellow!
Let the first color coat dry and apply a second coat. Two coats give you a beautiful saturation of color!
3. Add top coat
Add a clear matte top coat to your dry nails.
4. Add spring flowers
Use regular nail glue to add spring flower or butterfly embellishments to your nails.
This is where you really get to express your creativity, because there are no rules to what or how much embellishment you use.
You can fill your nail completely, adorn just the tip, or randomly scatter flowers and beads as you wish.
