Easy DIY Rosemary Hair Growth Oil Recipe
In this tutorial, I’ll show you how to make an all-natural DIY hair growth oil with just three easy ingredients. Let’s get into it.
Best castor oil!
Tools and materials:
- Rosemary sprigs (or dried rosemary)
- Olive oil
- Castor oil
1. Wash and dry fresh rosemary
You’ll need 4 sprigs of fresh rosemary. Wash them well and then dry them thoroughly with a tea towel.
Alternatively, you can use 2 tablespoons of dry rosemary.
2. Combine liquid ingredients
Combine ¼ cup of extra virgin olive oil and 1 tablespoon of castor oil into a bowl.
3. Pick the leaves off the rosemary
Separate the leaves from the rosemary sprigs.
Use a slotted spoon to make this process easier.
4. Add the leaves to the bowl
Add the rosemary leaves to the bowl alongside the oil.
5. Double boil
Double boil the rosemary oil for ten minutes, occasionally stirring.
6. Cool and store
Cool the rosemary oil and then pour it into a glass jar. Use a sieve to catch the rosemary sprigs.
7. Add rosemary sprigs for two days
Add two fresh rosemary sprigs to the jarred oil, and remove in two days.
How to use
Apply to your scalp and leave it in as long as you desire.
