If you’re like us and you’re in desperate need of a hair freshen up, we have a great DIY for you.

In this tutorial, we’re going to show you how to make a DIY hair perfume. This DIY hair perfume recipe is really simple to make for those days when you don’t have time to wash your hair, but you want to get rid of any lingering smells before you go out.

Tools and materials:

  • Water
  • Lavender essential oil
  • Aloe vera
  • Jojoba oil
  • Funnel
  • Spray bottle
Adding water to spray bottle

1. Add water to the spray bottle

Use a funnel to pour two ounces of water into the spray bottle.

Adding aloe vera

2. Add aloe vera to the spray bottle

Add half a teaspoon of aloe vera gel to the spray bottle.

Adding lavender oil

3. Add lavender essential oil to the spray bottle

When adding any essential oil, the amount is the same for any DIY.

You can use as much or as little as you want. We would say use around 10-15 drops.

If you want to use more, then use more, but if you’re sensitive to smells like we are, we recommend keeping it closer to 10.

Using DIY hair perfume

4. Shake it up and use

Shake up the mixture and it’s ready to use!

Make sure you’re not spraying the mixture too close to your head because you don’t want your hair to get wet. You should use it as a perfume.

I think this hair spray perfume is a great idea..In the past, I have sprayed my hair either with leave in conditioner, or perfume itself, but this idea I think will works well..I have a question however..How long can you leave this in the spray bottle??

I look forward to trying this..Now..Where is that spray bottle I bought forever ago?? LOL..

    Best,
