Hi everyone! Today, we’re going to show you how to make a super easy DIY hair serum for frizzy hair.

You can make this DIY serum with a few simple ingredients that you probably already have at home in your kitchen or bathroom.

So, without further ado, let’s jump into this DIY hair serum tutorial!

Tools and materials:

  • Aloe vera gel
  • Water
  • Avocado oil
  • Coconut oil
  • Vitamin E oil
  • Lavender essential oil (optional)
Gathering the ingredients

1. Gather your ingredients

You’re going to need aloe vera gel, which is basically going to make the serum portion of this DIY.

You will also need avocado oil, which is nice and moisturizing for the hair, then vitamin E oil, which is very conditioning too.

You will want to grab some coconut oil and some lavender essential oil, to make the serum smell really lovely. Although if you don’t like the smell of lavender, you can leave this last ingredient out.

We’ll add a splash of water too.

2. Mix the ingredients

Start by adding three tablespoons of aloe vera gel into a bowl.

3. Apply the DIY frizzy hair serum

Apply this DIY hair serum to damp hair. A great time would be when you hop out of the shower or bath.

Apply just a small amount (you don’t want your hair to look greasy!) then style your hair as you usually would.
