As it gets warmer and dryer outside, your hair might need some extra care and attention.

Make this DIY heat protectant with us. Just follow along with this simple, step-by-step tutorial.

Tools and materials:

  • Conditioner
  • Spray bottle
  • Funnel
  • ½ cup water
  • Sweet almond oil
  • Coconut oil

Measuring water

1. Measure water in your spray bottle

With a funnel, pour ½ cup (4 oz) of water into a spray bottle.

Keep in mind that you shouldn’t make too big of a batch because you’ll want it to stay fresh.

2. Add conditioner

Add a few dollops of conditioner to the water. We did not measure this exactly.
