Easy Hack to Upgrade Any Plain Strapless Dress
My strapless dress was a bit too clingy on top and I didn’t feel comfortable wearing it as it was.
You can use this hack with any plain strapless dress though. It’s a great way to jazz it up in a few seconds.

Tools and materials
- Plain strapless dress
- Long plain or patterned silk scarf
1. My plain dress
The main part of the dress fits me well.
It wasn’t the best shape for me though. I thought the top was a bit too tight to be flattering.
2. The scarf
Luckily I had a long, silky scarf in a pattern that went well with my dress.
You could use a plain scarf in a contrast color instead.
It needs to be long enough to wrap around you at least one and a half times.
3. The wrap
Fold the scarf in half lengthways.
Hold it in front of your body at bust level.
Take the two ends behind your back.
Tie them firmly together in a bow.

It looks like a completely different dress! Instantly ten times cuter.
And so quick and easy to do, you’ll be out of the door in no time.
You could do something similar with a large square scarf folded into a triangle and make a feature of the point.
