My Most Fabulous Dress!!
I've made the most excellent dress and I'm so happy with it!
Its the Hughes pattern by Friday Pattern Company available here > Friday Pattern Company Sewing Pattern Hughes Dress | Minerva and I used this super viscose linen fabric Minerva Exclusive Midnight Macaw EcoVero Viscose Linen Look Fabric Coffee | Minerva
I really think this is going to be fabulous for both summer and winter and I'm going to share my styling tips for both looks!!
Lovely and comfy, perfect for any occasion!!
Let's getting snipping, this dress isn't going to make itself!!
The bodice has several panels and the joining together starts at the back
After the back panels are stitched together we next add the side and front panels
Next we need to stitch the shoulder seams together.
Then we add some cute little sleeves!!
Next up we tackle the skirt panels!!
Almost finished, just the bodice to stitch to the skirt and we're ready to style it up!!
Tada all finished and styled up for a lovely lunch out all cool and comfy in the short sleeves and cute open toed sandals.
Or for a cosy winter outfit I loved styling it up with some chunky leather boots and a snuggly hand knit sweater!!
Which is your favourite outfit? I think this maybe my fav way to style it!!
