How to Make Eucalyptus Bath Bombs

Makes 5 medium bath bombs

Supplies:

Directions:

To get started making your essential oil bath bombs recipe add the dry ingredients to a large mixing bowl: baking soda, epsom salts, cornstarch, citric acid, mica, and eucalyptus leaves.

Stir with a whisk until completely combined.

Add the wet ingredients: oil, water and eucalyptus oil to a small jar, secure the lid, and shake well.

Slowly pour the liquid mixture into the dry mixture, whisking the bath bomb mixture the entire time, so as not to activate the fizz.

Overfill two halves of the bath bomb molds, push together, and gently twist.

Allow bath bombs to set for 8 hours or more, then remove from the mold. You may need to gently tap the bottoms and sides of the mold for them to release easier.

How to Store Bath Bombs

Store your bath bombs in an airtight container away from sunlight and moisture.

You can keep your bath bombs fresh for up to one year. Because the scent may fade over time, add a few drops of eucalyptus essential oil on them before use.

How to Use Your Bath Bombs

To enjoy a relaxing bath, fill a warm bath and add one or two of your sinus relief bath bombs to the bath water.

What is a Good Substitute for Essential Oils in Bath Bombs?

There are a few different things you can use to replace the essential oil in your bath bombs.

Some people like to use dried herbs, such as dried lavender or dried chamomile flowers. These herbs have a pleasant scent, and they will also help to relax and soothe your skin.

Some people choose to add liquid soap or body wash instead of essential oils.
